90-Day Glow & Grow Challenge: Fall is the perfect time to lock-in and go
Share
If you are anything like me you LOVE planning and could do it all day but trying to execute is a whole different story. We could argue that the planning process isn't as good as it could be and spiral into another day of planning. While that seems productive BABE I have to tell you something!!!
IT ISN'T!
We feel like we don't have any time and try to plan the time out but maybe it's spending time with friends, family, or if you are a college student HOMEWORK. Ugh, it's literally so crazy how we are trying to build our future and the very thing we thought was going to get us there was actually dragging us down the entire time.
It's disheartening and you maybe want to quit everything and focus solely on your business or side hustle. You are validated my love and that's perfectly normal. I, myself, experience this every single day and juggling everything I want to do overwhelms me so much that all I wanna do is just take a long hot bath and sleep.
BUT...
I think I got some of it figured out lol and I am going to go on this 90-day challenge to help myself start studying efficiently, build a social media business, and grow into my best body and mind.
I am going to share with you the plan (and progress on my Insta: @Daniella.nicole.s) here so you can have something to help you get back on track and start going after your dream consistently without being overwhelmed.
THE PLAN:
Goals:
To consistently upload on my social media.
The reason this is my goal because these days if you aren't visible on social media you are basically making yourself invisible to opportunity. It can be used for brain rot or build a personal brand that gives value and supports the life you want to build.
How?
- Always having an idea content bank and film thoughts and reflections throughout the day.
- Upload 1-2x talking head video per day that can be reused for multiple media platforms
- posting 3-5 stories of my day to check in on my self-growth journey and remind others who are dong the same.
- Focus on the raw and real instead of the aesthetic as part of my brand
To focus on my body and distressing.
The need for this is to develop the habit of taking care of my body and mind so that I can perform the best for my goals. So focusing on nutrition and movement I can make sure to regain focus. If you can build discipline with your body then that discipline seems to follow through in other areas of your life.
How?
- Using the gym schedule I purchased instead of always making a new plan.
- Water intake to help debloat and detoxify. Also getting old so gotta prevent wrinkles low-key.
- Focus on energizing foods instead of high-carb and sugary foods that make you feel heavy, bloated, and lots of brain fog. (Carrots, cucumbers, berries, protein, citrus, healthy carbs like broccoli, cauliflower, sweet potato, bananas)
To gain knowledge and skills in business:
This will allow me to continue to grow in my own business and then help others as well. I am in the last year of college with a business degree. Learning how to put all the things I've learned together has been somewhat of a challenge. Also filling in the gaps of what you need to know personally such as about fitness, social media, nutrition, organization, and even writing to relate to real every day people.
How?
- A concrete study-time and since I want to read everyday why not be reading the materials I need for classes? Who ever thought def not me but it is reading
- Develop skills by learning and practicing as I go on my own business
- Reviewing and improving my knowledge and skills because it is so important to change with the industries.
Putting all of these together is a really daunting task that makes me just wanna sit back and watch Wednesday but truth is we are locking in.
So I have recently gotten myself into the habit of waking up at 4:30am and trust it would not have been easy until I changed my mindset of waking up early. Think about it...
NOBODY is gonna schedule a social event at that time. NOBODY is going to interrupt you. AND you are going to finally be able to get some peace and quiet without roommates, family, friends, or even your phone for the first hour or two. Just a cup of delicious coffee and maybe a yogurt bowl. You can sit and plan til your hearts content and journal without the interruption of creativity social media does to us. You get to think without someone else's thoughts interfering with your real self.
If you feel like there isn't enough time in a day waking up at this time will have you feeling like you're in the north with 3 months of daylight.
I know you hate it already BUT getting out of that mindset and seeing the possibility was the biggest level up I did for myself recently. I remember promising myself that after middles school, and high school that I would never wake up at 6am ever again.
But now I understand that it was because I was getting up for someone else but when you get up for you and to finally have time alone to yourself it really is one of the best gifts you can give yourself.
Getting this in my day:
Wake up early then plan and journal my day.
Immediately start on your to-do list such as reading, gym, skill acquisition. Be careful and keep sitting up drinking that coffee because not gonna lie reading will try to put you to sleep.
When its time for classes or maybe for you work you have this time planned out and you may have already been prepared for what's coming up.
In the evening most of everything is already done so you can have a social event or in my case everyone is awake or gone so I can film and edit without being embarrassed or maybe you could have gotten your filming and editing done earlier. In this case, the evening may be your time for social events and relaxation. It truly is a blessing to have most of everything done in the morning so if you forget something you aren't scrambling to get it done.
Then at around 8 I start getting ready for bed by shutting off my social media and take a nice bath, get my skincare done, and drink a crazy amount of water (good for making you get up early for an emergency bathroom break) and getting your beauty sleep queen cuz you have built the routine that's going to make you the most productive.
Of course add or take away according to the goals of your next 90-days. This is the routine I've done that's been making me feel more put together and productive.
