The 7 Systems Every Ambitious Woman Needs to Build A Path to Success

The 7 Systems Every Ambitious Woman Needs to Build A Path to Success

Introduction:

Most Ambitious women don't fail because they lack of potential-- they fail because they run without systems.

When we see successful entrepreneurs, content creators, or anyone with goals they actually achieve we wonder how did they get there. When you listen to their testimony it's always because they made a plan and they stuck to it. It wasn't just a goal...

I know how it is to have goals and then when that deadline comes you feel like you've achieved nothing. You fell off maybe two weeks after and it's so demoralizing! If you are in anything like me you revel in it and perhaps punish yourself inside. Further escalating the situation.

Truth is...

Beating yourself up gets you nowhere. Sometimes you can guilt trip yourself into doing something but in the end all it does is make you avoid the solution because you've associated it with something bad.

It took me a long time to finally start my business simply because I thought I wasn't enough. "I wasn't trying hard enough." "It was all excuses I didn't have time." "I was failure and I deserved to be."

Here's how I finally broke free of the continuous cycle of setting goals, deviating after maybe a week, and revealing in my failure:

7 System Breakdown:

The Morning Passion System

Starting your day off right can be daunting especially if you hate getting up early or just have never been able to stick to a schedule. It's rough and I personally struggled with it for years.

Putting something in the morning that you have to do or look forward to doing that you almost get so excited about that you can't sleep. This allows you to get passed the brain fog that send you right back to sleep.

My fiancé works in construction so he gets up pretty early. My motivation was making sure he had breakfast and of course I had coffee. What can I say? I don't drink coffee to wake up I wake up to drink coffee haha

I noticed that I actually loved getting up and working on my business in the morning. It was quiet and absolutely nobody was making plans at 4:30am to invite me to (it's hard for me to say no). Nobody wanted you do anything at that time and that was the beauty of it. I could focus on myself completely.

Find out what in this life you are passionate about working on. Your business, your hobby, exercise, writing, meditation, etc. This should be something that gives you that sense of self. This gives you clarity in your life and allows you to stop focusing on someone else's system and just on yours.

I suggest the book "Miracle Morning" by Hal Elrod. It helps you structure the morning so that you actually learn to enjoy it and work just on yourself if you are looking for a little more structure.

Focus & Productivity System:

Understanding what makes you the most productive, creative, and focused will help you in whatever you aim to achieve. Where you focus best (desk, bed, kitchen, outside, coffee shop, background music, or silence), best productivity system for you (pomodoro method, deep work, checklists), and how do you record your ideas.

This is very important to figure out because it is going to allow you to spend your time wisely and actually get things done. If you are a creative or just business owner in general it is very good to have a way to get out your ideas and immediately write them down. So, on your phone have a dedicated note just for ideas that pop into your head. Don't worry these days most phones are water resistant if you tend to have ideas in the shower.

Another worthy mention is sometimes taking breaks from any media and even people can help your creative process. We are influenced by others' ideas all day that we become influenced by their ideas and desire that we aren't sure what we want to do anymore. Taking a break every now and then (such as the shower) to destress and allow yourself to be present in your own mind. Get to know yourself again and what you actually want in life. When was the last time you decided you liked something without being influenced to think so?

Health & Energy System

We may have goals but if your health isn't included you may not be achieving much of anything for long. Here's why

Our bodies are capable of so much and are resilient to a lot of things but if you aren't taking care of it then it can prevent you from achieving those goals.

Pay attention to fueling your body with whole foods not the processed stuff. Greasy foods that are way too many calories and wreak havoc on your veins and arteries can make us not only sick but unable to focus and have clarity. Too much sugar can affect your mental clarity as well not to mention some much dreaded health problems

Drinking plenty of water allows you to flush toxins and stay hydrated so that everything keeps working smoothly. Women need around 2.7L of water and men need closer to 3L of water. Also keeps you an expense away from botox.

Having an exercise routine that adds up to the recommended amount keeps us looking our best and feeling our best. You can experience higher energy levels and conditioning in the body. This also helps blood flow which can help our brains receive some much needed oxygen because cardio especially helps us to process oxygen a lot better (VO2MAX). This is basically a test that is done professionally that shows how well your body uses the oxygen it's given. It's increased by doing cardio regularly because our body adapts to all the heavy breathing we do during cardio and learns how to use it more efficiently and get it to all parts of the body. Cardio is an exercise that you can literally do every day since it can be low to moderate intensity.

Learning & Growth System:

If you always feel stuck in your business or growth journey then you might need to take note of everything you need to learn. Learning is not just in school it's a part of life that never ends.

We are very frustrated when we don't know something, but if you ever noticed that if we like it even though we do it very little all of a sudden we gain the skill?  That's how learning works and because you liked it you now know how to do it. At least for me there are things I know how to do that I don't remember learning how to do but when I think about it (like rolling my r's or learning how to edit) I remembered I kept doing it until all of a sudden I knew how.

Maybe watching videos or just practice we still went through the process of learning. So when there are things we don't want to do but are needed for our business we have to just learn and keep doing until we have the skill.

Money Management System:

If you are a college student or adult you know you need money and most of the time there isn't enough of it it seems. It's very important to know where every single dime is going. Having a budget planner is going to help you know exactly what you are buying and why so you can make better decisions instead of impulse buys.

Learning how to invest is one of the best things you can do with your money specifically because it helps your money grow with the economy instead of loosing value over time.

I am not a professional and still learning every day how to be better with money. There are risks associated with investing but to me personally there are risks associated with just using  savings account without investing too.

Most financial advisors recommend that you have an emergency savings fund from expenses up to 3-6 months and even a year if you are a freelancer. Then put funds in your retirement account then focus on the investment account. This allows you to be prepared to make the most out of investing simply because it secures your present and future (it lowers the risk of becoming homeless significantly because we girlies need our luxuries)

Digital Presence System:

Building a presence online grows your personal brand which in turn can help grow a business and get you access to many many opportunities. You have the opportunity to be seen for jobs, business, affiliate marketing, and building a customer base for the future.

The people that follow you should be those you resonate with and could one day build a business from their interests and needs. Building trust and relationships with your audience through sharing valuable insights helps you create a brand that people will buy from.

Instagram is one of the best platforms to grow your personal brand with short form content that brings attention to your business or just you as a person. Creating a strategy that helps you grow and learning all you can will help you gain skills for the future. It's almost impossible to fail simply because if you keep trying and learning you always resonate with people. You just can't give up.

Using social media like instagram helps you connect to those in your industry and that could come in handy if you need information or have a collaboration with these people. Connecting and knowing people in your field keeps you on your toes and learning so that you can always stay relevant and improve your strategy.

If you do choose to do then make sure you have automations in place such as a system for ideas, production, and posting. Make it as simply and automatic as possible but then set up to post on a schedule and just add videos to the schedule, have automatic messaging, and checkouts in place to make the process easier on you and the customer.

This will help you on your path to success. If you are never seen chances are you'll never be picked.

Discipline & Accountability System:

Now keeping all these systems going will take some discipline and dedication to the process of becoming your best self. You can have a system all day but if you don't do what it takes to put it in motion then you will never see the benefits.

I still struggle with consistency due to trying to compare my level 1 to someone else's level 100 and it can take its toll. So, making sure you take a step back at the long run is really important to stay on the path. Remember that you are learning and unless it's constructive criticism from anyone including yourself is just air. You are trying and that's the best you can do at all times.

You have to be passionate about fulfilling your potential in whatever project you lean into because the easier it is the more likely you will stick to it. Make it easy, make it enjoyable, make it obvious, and keep pushing.

For me skipping or allowing myself to break the rules one time never leads to a good outcome so I would advise never allowing yourself to just half-ass it for a day. Always give it your all because there will never be time where you gave your all and you will regret it (overworking yourself is a totally different thing. You are an adult you know you need sleep, health, and patience.)

That's the systems I believe have gotten me this far and I have confidence these are the systems bringing me to my goals every single time.
